Netflix Loses Hope, Will Begin Promoting the New Disney Plus Streaming Service

November 12th, 2019 – Los Gatos, CA

For awhile there has been a lot of hype in regards to the new Disney+ streaming service, which is now available as of today for order. The service will not only include all of the Disney classics, but all other entertainment franchises that Disney has bought in the last several years. The service would be the place for all Marvel Movies, Star Wars Episodes, anything Pixar, and even will have the ENTIRE catalog of the Simpsons. This point has been promoted heavily on ESPN, which of course is a subsidiary of Disney. In fact, it would be hard to find something that IS NOT under their umbrella in some way or another.

With a service of this magnitude, you can imagine how it could impact the competition for other streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu. Hulu appears to be ready to try to compete, but apparently Netflix is throwing in the towel.

“When we found out Disney was going to have a streaming service, we thought “We’re fucked”. We might as well make as much money as we can before they knock us out of business.”

Netflix has decided to let Disney pay them to promote the latter’s streaming service.

“Disney is massive and owns everything. How can we compete with that??? If you can’t beat them, join them!”

Netflix was established in 1997, originally in Scott Valley, CA, by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph. The company has seen revenues rise significantly every year since 2005, reporting nearly $16 billion in revenues and reporting over 1.2 billion in profits for 2018. You think with results like this they would be more optimistic. Apparently not.

“You don’t fuck with Disney. They are cutthroat. They may be all kid friendly in regards to image, but in business they would sell their children to take all the market share. We are trying to keep our families safe!”

“By taking the ad money from them to promote the service, it will give us time to build up some money before they inevitably eat us up like the rest of America. Disney is a monster with a hunger that cannot be satisfied. South Park got it right, there is something wrong with that mouse.”

They are referring to the episode of South Park titled “The Boss is Here” in the series’ 13th season premiere, where Mickey Mouse is portrayed as “Mr. Mouse” who is a ruthless, money grabbing monster. I tried to tell them that Mickey Mouse is imaginary, but this Netflix Executive was having no part of it.

“He’s real!! He’s watching us!! We are next and we must give in or be killed!”

At this point, my team and I did not feel safe around this individual and ended the interview there. We actually addressed our concerns with someone at the front desk. Hopefully he gets some help.

Clearly Netflix is scared (or maybe we just interviewed an insane person), but either way Disney Plus will definitely be shaking up the streaming services market, rather or not Mickey Mouse can grow to immense sizes and breathe fire.

Seriously South Park, that episode was great.
